Engineering Project Manager

About the role
To plan, and direct all works on site necessary to deliver the project, including plant, equipment, labour, materials, subcontractors and any other resources. At HEH Civil you will be working in small teams with other top-level experienced staff. This is a permanent role based in Cairns with opportunities for ongoing training and promotion for the right person, and an exceptional remuneration package on offer.
What you will need to be considered:
- Engineering Degree or similar
- Demonstrated ability to provide confident and competent leadership to a project through positive communication.
- Excellent communication skills with liaising with the management staff to ensure delivery of all projects safely, cost effectively, on time and on budget.
- Proven ability with the management of all WHS, quality, environmental management, and community relations issues on all sites.
- Demonstrated ability in reporting of all activities that occur on site each day, as required by the project specification and company quality, OHS and environmental plans, policies and procedures.
- Ability to ensure safety, quality and environmental matters are compliant.
Applicants are not required to have a degree in Civil Engineering however a degree would be highly advantageous. A Minimum 5 years’ experience is necessary and Government infrastructure project management experience is an advantage.
