Investing in our people – Dylan Lyth’s HEH Civil Story
At HEH Civil, we love investing in our people which connects to our core values of Continuous Improvement and Teamwork. When we get great people, it brings us great pride to watch them grow and succeed.
Casual Start with HEH Civil
Dylan Lyth joined the HEH Civil team as a casual labourer. Over 6-8 months, he demonstrated his passion for the civil construction industry and expressed interest in further developing his career with HEH Civil.
Investing in our people
We decided to offer Dylan a permanent role and paid for him to complete a Certificate III in Civil Construction Plant Operations with Registered Training Organisation Civil Safety.
Having seen Dylan’s dedication to the job, we knew he would undertake his training with the same attitude and commitment.
When our employees show a desire to learn and grow within our organisation, HEH Civil embraces and encourages it. This is what sets us apart from other Civil Construction companies.
A worthwhile investment
As predicted, Dylan embraced his training with gusto.
Emma from RTO Civil Safety stated:
His attitude towards learning and his career is to be commended. His natural ability and competence on equipment is extraordinary. Dylan also provided valuable feedback to our organization in a positive way regarding the way his training was delivered and the outcomes of his contact time.
Dylan is a determined young man who has a vision and mission for his future. He has demonstrated commitment and dedication to advance his skills and career.”
After a year of training, Dylan is now certified to conduct a wide range of general civil construction tasks as well as operate the following machines:
- Skid Steer Loader
- Excavator
- Articulated Haul Truck
- Roller
- Wheeled Front End Loader
All of these skills help cement Dylan as a valuable asset to the HEH Civil team and ensure that Dylan can continue to follow his civil construction dreams.
