Bana Gindarja Creek Slope Stabilisation
Slope stabilisation/Detailed earthworks & Pavement Construction
Bana Gindarja Creek Stabilisation works were the remaining connecting link between the Cairns Southern Access Cycleway and the Edmonton to Gordonvale Stage 4 works. Works required the stabilisation of Bana Gindarja Creek, a known area of cultural heritage importance for the Region, and the construction of a high speed cycleway connecting Gordonvale to Cairns.
Burke Developmental Road Chillagoe to Almaden
Main Roads Construction
The project included a full roadworks upgrade of 7.8km of the Burke Developmental Road between Almaden and Chillagoe. This project fully reworked the existing formation to improve all-weather bitumen-sealed pavement.
Cairns Marine Precinct
Marine Infrastructure
This project demonstrated HEH Civil’s ability to successfully manage multiple high-risk activities in a live environment including management of contaminated materials, existing service location/protection, marine works, heavy-duty pavements, tidal conditions, and live seaport operations.
