Key Challenges and Solutions
- Significant wet weather was experienced throughout the duration of this project which led to HEH Civil’s project team managing delays, endeavouring to ensure the project timeframe is kept on track. The site experienced more than 3 times the median rainfall. Due to this significant wet weather, HEH Civil had to implement additional temporary batter stabilisation and additional side track to ensure continuous traffic flow.
Achievements
- Project was on track to be delivered on time, safely and within budget.
- HEH Civil has maintained a good working relationship and communication with Principal Contractor and all stakeholders involved in the project to ensure safe delivery of the works with minimal impacts to the public.
