Slope Remediation
D'Aguilar Highway
Location: D’Aguilar Highway, South East Queensland
Client: RoadTek – North Coast
Start Date: Jan 2024
End Date: July 2024
Value: $1.9m
About the Project:
Major remediation works were required for a failed shotcrete batter that was constructed in 2011/2012 on D’Aguilar Highway approximately 11.4 km east of Blackbutt township. This project included the staged removal of the existing shotcrete batter and installation of soil nails and new shotcrete batter. Due to the in situ material, the removal of the damaged shotcrete and descaling of the existing batter proved to be very challenging. Removal and replacement of the toe slab was apart of the original scope.
