About the Project:
In December 2023, ex-cyclone Jasper crossed the coast near Wujal Wujal causing heavy rainfall resulting in numer ous slope failures along Cape Tribulation Road. As a testament to our longstanding relationship with R edfox Consultancy, HEH Civil & Redfox secured Douglas Shire’s Package 16 D & C Slope Remediation Work.
Project Scope
The scope of works for this project includes:
- Design & construct of 11 separate landslip sites, with site specific treatments and geotechnical variables considered
- Soil nailing
- Concrete FRP works
- Gabion baskets
- Micropiling
- Steel wire mattresses
- Gravel resheeting
- Road furnitur e including guar drails
- Stormwater supply & installation
Key Project Highlights
- Design and construct tender package, suited to HEH Civil and Redfox Consultancy’s collaborative relationship
- Significant cost saving to client’s original budget, Redfox has proposed practical designed suited to remote work
